Multisport Adventure in Maichau




This easy  ” Iron man adventure tour “  6 days  tours  with mountain bike  takes you to the very heart of the north Vietnam mountain .

This allows you to reach one of the most delightful parts of the Northern Top in Vietnam where you’ll find big rolling hills, great views and speedy open descents with good sight lines.

A single track  in the middle reminds you what real mountain biking is all about.  At its end, it lands you on a steady climb that takes you over some grand hill tops and more amazing views for some excellent descending . 

This trip is 7/10 difficult mountain bike with off road ,terrain, dirt trails , single track, tough…. That is  REAL mountain bike trip. Easy river rafting will be make you have a lot of fun and relax.

Day 1: HaNoi – MocChau – Mai Chau Mountain bike (75km) (Meal:  L, D)

Transfer to Moc Chau . Start riding ,It’s a fascinating drive past many minority villages as we climb onto a higher plateau. We ride pass coffee and tea plantations before arriving in the Bai Xang .  Optional asphalt road riding to  Mai Chau .

Day 2: Mai Chau- mountain bike-trekking . (+- 80km ) (Meal: B, L, D)

 After breakfast riding to Co Luong then continue in the off road to  En villages .  ( +-36 km o with off road, single track ). the bike we use bamboo rafting down on Ma river to  Chieng villages ( 8km ).  We trek for approximately three hours before arriving at the Thai village of Hang. We spend the night with a local Thai family who will be our hosts in a traditional house built on stilts. Whilst enjoying their hospitality we will discover a little more about their lives and culture.

Day 3:Hang village – Kho Muong Village-  trekking       (B,L,D)

This morning we have the opportunity to stroll around Hang village before we start trekking. Today we will be walking for approximately six hours. Along the way we pass through several Thai villages and hamlets before arriving at the village of Kho Muong. As the name suggests this is a Muong minority village and we will be their guests for the night.

Day 4:Kho Muong Village – Him Village         (B,L,D)

This morning we set out from Kha and trek for roughly three hours through a picturesque forest passing several villages along the way. We break for lunch in the village of Nua before setting off again for a further three hours. Our final destination for today is Him village, another Thai community.

Day 5:Him Village – Son Village       (B,L,D)

Today we have an exhilarating trek to the top of Pu Luong Mountain. This is quite a demanding day’s trek and will take at least six hours to complete. However the panoramic views of Pu Luong from the hill top village of Son are very rewarding.

Day 6:Luong (Son Village) – Hanoi        (B,L,D)

We leave Son village and walk through several hamlets and villages for approximately three hours. We then rendezvous with our awaiting vehicle that will take us back to Hanoi.
